CHRIS has played everything on drums....from Jazz and Blues to Funk and Metal. He hits hard, but he's one laid-back dude! This TEXAS native developed his skills while touring thoughout the US and the occasional European stint. He's played with tons of bands....everything from Pop and Metal all the way to Texas Country that will "cut you like a razor and leave you bleeding on the dance floor!" (That's an inside joke...sorry....couldn't resist.)
A veteran of both the HOUSTON, TX and AUSTIN, TX scenes, he's enjoying himself in the laid-back atmosphere that is DARWINS GOD. The band, while holding itself to very high standards, remains very democratic and "chill". This atmosphere allows each member the freedom to be his own voice within the tunes. It very well may be that DARWINS GOD is the perfect platform to showcase his unique and innovative style.
You'll probably never begin to guess WHAT equipment CHRIS might bring to a show. Could be his vintage 1970's Ludwig kit. Could be his 90's "Frankenstein" (Named so by the band because much of it came from different kits, and the shells are Neon Green.) DW kit. In any case, you can be sure he's bringing his A-Game. He's quite simply one of the most solid players in the HOUSTON area.
